Welcome to Association Pour la Terre
We believe that the combination of (a) music and principles surrounding sustainable development embodied in the Earth Charter, adopted by the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as part of its administration of the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014), and (b) our experience and dedication to inspiring children accordingly through music since 2001, serves as the basis of our current emphasis on producing comprehensive tree planting events for 6 to 12 year old children throughout the world in coordination with major forest organizations such as the United States Forest Service, National Park Service , and French ONF. Our first major planting near Nice, France was universally acclaimed a success and serves as a template for similar events in the United States, Canada, throughout southern Europe and the Mediterranean countries.
